About Us
Who We Are
We are 2 sisters, Mags and Jen. We grew up with a mum who baked, occasionally for us and often for various coffee mornings. We would always get involved, helping to cut out biscuits or decorate cakes. We love to bake and eat cake! After pursuing separate careers we have come together to create The Sweet Tart Tearoom.
We initially started the business by catering for private parties, in particular afternoon tea served on our beautiful vintage crockery. We were delighted to be able to open our tearoom in Glasgow Southside in December 2019. Hand made traditional cake

We bake cakes onsite to ensure they are at their freshest for you to enjoy. We have sourced the best local suppliers to provide products that compliment our cakes including Mossgiel organic milk (also comes with impressive green credentials), Thomsons Coffee (local roasters), Jenier & The Tea People for loose leaf tea.
More than Drinks
We have a variety of loose leaf tea served in teapots with beautiful hand knitted tea cosies. Our coffee is delicious made with Thomson’s coffee and Mossgiel organic milk. We have Paisley soft drinks alongside the usual favourites.
We provide sweet and savory food options, including waffles, croques(french toasted sandwiches), fresh sandwiches, and a good selection of cakes . So whether you're stopping for your morning coffee, lunch, or an afternoon snack, we've got you covered tearoom
